Your hands tell a story
As an Occupational Therapist, my focus is on person-centred, holistic care. My role is to help people find solutions to the difficulties they experience when completing their activities of daily living. To find solutions, you have to talk with people. When you talk with people and are genuinely interested in who they are and what makes them tick, you often get to hear interesting stories, funny anecdotes, sad stories, and amazing experiences.
As I am curious about a person's journey and what makes them who they are, I wanted to capture a snapshot of someone's life journey and with consent to tell their story - a person's story lies at the heart of who they are, and it is with curiousness and respect that I share these with you now.
